STEP 2 - Select a sphere size - ie VP 3025
The sphere sizes are represented as the diameter
in cm. The options are 25 , 30 or 40.
NOTE: The most common and popular are the 30 cm spheres.
For this reason the full range of mounts and map types are not always available
or supported for 25 and 40 cm globes.
|
STEP 3 - Select a mount - ie VP30 25
STEP 4 - Extras
There is only one extra
feature to decide upon - illuminated or non-illuminated. The mounts and
globes are designed in such a way as to allow an interior light fixture to
be added.
Illuminated globes are not glorified lamps! They contain
additional information. Such as the antique-style globe with political
colouration when illuminated displays travel routes of famous explorers.
The political displays ocean topography and mountain relief.
